Project description
Main research question:
How could an IT-solution streamline BAEKEN’s onboarding process and make it more reliable?
Context
BAEKEN is a company that helps customers with project management for complex construction projects. They help their customers to gain insight in time, quality, costs, risk, stakeholder and change-management. BAEKEN uses specific software for managing these projects.
This software is called Oracle Primavera Cloud. Recently BAEKEN became an official reseller of this software. But the onboarding process of customers to the Oracle Primavera Cloud software is time-consuming and repetitive. BAEKEN is looking for a tool to improve the efficiency of this process. In addition, BAEKEN wants to grow as a company. This means that to take on more customers BAEKEN has to make this onboarding process more efficient.
Results
To meet the goals of this project, a web application along with a supporting backend and database infrastructure have been realised. All the aforementioned components of this application are scalable, and cloud based to be support BAEKEN's growth. The platform is accessible to clients and consultants, allowing either to fill in and validate information making the onboarding more efficient.
Access control is managed with Microsoft Entra ID, integrating with BAEKEN's SSO system. As a whole, the application enables BAEKEN to manage and maintain multiple clients' onboarding process in a highly structured and efficient way.
