Equine Integration: Dashboard
Project description
The assignment is to design an interactive dashboard that combines data from different equine apps into one clear platform. The dashboard should show key information about training, nutrition, and biomechanics for multiple horses and support collaboration between riders, trainers, veterinarians, and other specialists.
The final result will be a visual mock-up that demonstrates how the dashboard improves decision-making and communication in equine teams.
Context
Equine sports performance and welfare technology, integrating data analytics, wearables, stable sensors, and software solutions used by riders, trainers, veterinarians, and equestrian organizations.
Professional equestrian teams work with many horses and different specialists such as riders, trainers, veterinarians, nutritionists, and stable managers. Every day, they need to make quick decisions about each horse’s training, health, and nutrition. Right now, all this information is spread across different apps and systems, which makes it difficult to see everything in one place. Because of this, decisions are often delayed, and important signals about a horse’s health or performance may be missed.
Equine Integration wants to solve this by creating one smart dashboard that combines all the data in one clear and easy-to-use place. This dashboard should help teams monitor horse welfare and performance and make daily decisions faster and more effectively.
Results
We design a prototype that unifies data from multiple existing applications, EI Potential (training), Slip (biomechanics), and Feed Wise (nutrition), into one cohesive platform.
The dashboard will enable collaboration and data-driven decision- making across user roles, including veterinarians, trainers, nutritionists, riders, and federations, by providing clear, aggregated insights per horse and across teams.
