Project description
How can we support Simptel in developing its own platform so that the current process is automated?
Context
The current platform that Simptel uses cannot support the new IT innovation of Simptel. Simptel's current platform is linked to the current platform called WHMCS for administrative matters and customer service. As a result, Simptel has to perform maintenance and updates on two platforms, taking into account the WHMCS agenda. In the long term, this will involve increasing costs, and therefore Simptel wants to make the choice to include all facets of current business operations in the new IT innovation called “The future company”.
Results
The most important outcome is the platform itself. This is the start of the storefront within The Future Company. Other outcomes are an extensive software analysis and design document, business documentation such as IST-SOLL-GAP analysis, a dashboard build in Power BI and a secure login/signup system for the project.
About the project group
We are a group of four enthousiastic ICT students who love to take a challenge. Our group exists of 2 software students, and 2 business students. What makes our group so powerful, is the fact that business related matters, can be translated into a software deliverable.
