The main topic of our project was to provide a cloud deployment structure that is repeatable and scalable for the ViBE project.
Context
The ViBE project concerns the digital replication of humans (visually and using AI) for use in (medical) education and other applications.
Results
A cloud hosting solution was created. The scalability of the project is still somewhat in question, as the cloud hosting of an application as GPU intensive as the ViBE app requires more than our limited research budget, but we effectively advised the ViBE project leaders on a new technological direction for their hosting that seems promising by using Unreal Pixel Streaming.
