Project description
The goal of the project is to create an Instagram automation tool that can increase a brand outreach by performing following functionalities: follow, like, comment, send message, scrape followers.
Context
EXPANDI is the market leader in LinkedIn automation scene.
We would like to create software in which the end user is able to add an Instagram
account in the automation platform and do scraping and outreach on Instagram.
The main concept is to generate new followers by doing outreach/create touch points. This
could be doing a visit on Instagram page, follow a ‘closed’ IG profile, or sent a direct
message to a ‘open’ profile.
Results
Created a frontend dashboard for user to easily interact with the bot functionality. Created a backend in Python that handles the bot processes. Present insights about the limits of using a bot for Instagram before it gets banned.

About the project group
Team of 2, worked 4 months. Sprints of 3 weeks. Daily meeting at school or at home. Created a project board in GitHub: user stories picked before the start of sprint. User stories then divided into tasks.
