Project description
Main research question: How can we combine techniques from the past and present to prevent or invent a remedy for addiction or mental health issues?
Design challenge: Design an app to enable single men without a community to find a community and meet new people so they will not feel lonely and have personal conversations.
Context
The GGZ (Mental Health Care) is fluid. It is a mirror of society. The classic mental health care system gets stuck and there are terms such as waiting list attached to it, which suggests that the problem is medical and can only be 'solved' in this way. (Mental) Health is context-dependent and is related to your environment and your loved ones. In order to change the perception of mental health, we need to address perception of it. How can we make the people of Eindhoven (in all their diversity) look at the theme of mental health in a more positive way and make relevant information and knowledge more accessible?
Results
Je begint met het invullen van vragen. Nadat je deze paar vragen hebt ingevuld wordt je in een level geplaatst 0 t/m 3. Waar level 0 totaal niet open staat voor niks of niemand, staat level 3 open voor alles maar missen ze een eigen gemeenschap. Als gebruiker zie je niet in welk level je wordt ingedeeld na de vragenlijst. Maar het is wel handig voor de applicatie om te weten in welk level ze zitten zodat ze gerichte informatie kunnen laten zien of aanraden wat het beste voor de gebruiker is.
Verder bevat de applicatie:
- Application to gain life tips & tricks
- Application to chat with people (anonymously if chosen) to meet new people who could support each other
- Application to join or create real life events
About the project group
Met 5 man (3 Media & 2 Software) sterk hebben we 9 weken gewerkt aan een project voor gemeente Eindhoven.
