VR Artist Venue

Project description

Design interactive activities within a room in VR Chat to enable artists working with the Effenaar to connect more with their audience in a virtual environment.

Context

Effenaar is a music venue in Eindhoven. They would like to create a virtual environment to enable artists to with a new way to engage with their fans. The virtual world would be tailored to the artist with a focus on the interactions between the artist and their fans.

Results

The final prototype includes a world in VR Chat that is customized for an artist with three main interactions:
- trying out the artist's dresses in front of a mirror
- painting and sculpting in VR
- listening to and controlling spatial audio

About the project group

This project was part of our XR minor. Everyone in the team has a background in Software Engineering and Game Design & Technology.
