Innovative Research into Dataspaces and SCSN for Secure Data Exchange
In the modern world of digital product passports (DPP), sharing data between stakeholders and chain partners is essential. However, partners are often reluctant to share their data due to concerns about the protection of their intellectual property. At HTES, we are investigating various techniques that can support this, including Dataspaces. For example, we are setting up a proof of concept (POC) with dataspace connectors.
We have also investigated the Smart Connector Supplier Network (SCSN). In the past, companies shared data via an EDI connection, and later via service providers in a small network. SCSN connects all these networks, allowing companies to choose their own service provider. We will further investigate how SCSN can be used to share a DPP.
We are also investigating techniques for automatically generating missing data, Large Language Models (LLMs), an advanced technology that could potentially improve the accuracy and completeness of digital product passports.
At HTES, we are committed to developing innovative solutions that shape the future of data exchange and digital product passports.
