Project description
The goal of this project is to facilitate outdoor event management. It will be done by a combination of video surveillance, crowd management and staff navigation.
The frontend should display a map of the terrain with the locations of all camera's and resources. Video streams should be visible of camera's and drones and you should be able to store recordings and snapshots of the video streams. A heatmap is created from the footage of the video streams and this heatmap can be used as an overlay on the floorplan.
Context
Music, sport and art festivals, The combination of AI (artificial intelligence), security cameras, sensors and data sources makes smart security also available for smaller and medium-sized events.
Results
We finished a partially working backend for the core functionalities for the frontend. These functionalities are creating snapshots from video streams, the initial setup for a festival and the pre processing of the video streams for the ai module. The AI module is not part of our scope.
