Project description

How can we track devices inside a building (such as a warehouse) and how can we show the devices in the OpenRemote dashboard in realtime?

Context

OpenRemote usually operates at the household level or at a large scale such as the city level. The middle ground of this scale, such as warehouses, remain uncovered. The purpose of this system is to track not just devices, but any objects for that matter, inside a building and enable users to map them out, see their location and various measurements in real time

Results

The result of this project is the developed software and the documentation for a Tag, Beacon and the OpenRemote platform. All of them combined provide the base functionality for the Indoor Tracking System.
