Digital Screen PWMI
Project description
How can PWMI and the T+Huis use interactive and visual communication to become more visible and accessible to residents of Woensel-Zuid, especially those with a migration background and limited Dutch language skills?
Context
Sector:
Public & Social Services
Focus:
Helping people in Woensel-Zuid (especially those with a migration background) better understand and connect with what PWMI and T+Huis offer, by creating simple and clear ways to share information and opportunities.
Results
The main result of our project is: an interactive digital screen that shows useful and fun content to people in the neighbourhood.
On the screen, you can see things like local projects, the PWMI online platform, upcoming events, and short interviews with residents. It’s all easy to understand, even without reading.
We tested the idea by asking classmates, PWMI, and people walking by for feedback. Right now, our concept is around TRL 5–6, it has been tested in a real setting and is ready to grow into a working version.
About the project group
We are a group of 5 students working together on this project for PWMI and the T+Huis in Eindhoven. Over the past 8 weeks, we spent time every week in workshops, meetings, and design sessions. We worked both individually and as a team, dividing tasks like research, persona creation, concept development, and design. We tried to combine all ideas into one strong and clear concept that fits the needs of the target audience.
