Innovactions
Project description
The problem Innovactions faces is that they are getting a lot of data and this is getting too complex to manage and understand, which makes it difficult for the company to have a clear overview on what Innovactions is doing every month, what should be improved and what is going well.
Problem statement/Main research question:
How can Innovactions' financial and project management data be automated into a visualization report, integrating it within their existing infrastructure to streamline monthly performance evaluations and minimize manual effort?
Context
Innovactions is a digital specialist company based in the Netherlands, dedicated to enhancing customer engagement through innovative technological solutions. As the company expands, managing internal operations and financial data has become increasingly challenging. Innovactions utilizes Moneybird (for financial and accountancy management). However, the process of manually extracting, organizing, and interpreting data from this system is time-consuming and inefficient.
Results
Our project's main outcome is the Financial & Operational PowerBI dashboard that automates the data extraction from Moneybird, an innovative, user-friendly report designed with accessibility in mind. The final product successfully fosters the entire data automation process, including extracting, transforming and loading raw unstructured data in a structured model that is used to build financial and operational visualisations. The Innovaction financial report has been validated by our stakeholders and users, proving its efficacy in eliminating manual work. Its features such as General overview, Cashflow overview, Financial dashboard, Project and Management dasboards significantly enhance the monthly financial analys and decision making. TRLevel positioning further supports its value, highlighting its user-centered design, robust financial measures, and successful PowerBI-based deployment. This outcome is a step forward in supporting Innovactions company to track their finances and make better data driven decisions
