Project description
How might we design and realise an attractive game that uses a floor projection combined with physical mini drones for events to spark enthousiasm for STEM?
Context
The goal of this project is to develop a new interactive demo that can be used during STEM-oriented events. The intended use context is a short public event setting in which visitors canquickly step in, understand the activity, and play a short session.
The project builds on an earlier drone setup and inherited technical infrastructure, but not on the earlier game concept itself. The previous game idea was considered too complex and insufficiently optimized for event use. In addition, there is a clear need for stronger drone guardrails, better safety measures, and more accessible gameplay for short demo sessions.
The new assignment therefore focuses on creating a more understandable, safer, and more event-suitable prototype while reusing as much of the existing infrastructure as possible to save development time
