Project description
The goal of this project, is to use a ClearPath Jackal robot to autonomously drive around, scan the environment and document the assets it finds.
Context
The context of the project is to automate and speed-up the process of scanning a building. This is currently done by humans, but by automating this process, the scanning is quicker and has fewer chances of mistake.
Results
Before the end of the semester, the robot should drive around autonomously, scan the area and map it on a 2D map, and add markers to the map based on the objects it detects.
