The first microcredentials have been awarded!

A great milestone for Fontys ICT and for the professionals who have developed within the Accelerate-IT program.

In this program, workers take short, practical courses in the field of AI, data science, smart industry and cyber security. For the AI for Society and Data Driven Business Lab courses, the first participants now received an official microcredential - a recognized proof of what you have learned and can apply.

For example, Max, channelmanager at KPN:
"Thanks to the Data Driven Business Lab course, I now have insight into where our organization can accelerate and grow. I learned the basics of Power BI really well and can now build data sets myself. That I also received a recognized microcredential for this is a nice bonus - this way I can easily demonstrate what I can do and continue to build on my development."

Marleen, working in the social domain, also saw what it brought her:
"Technology seemed like another world to me, no idea where to start. But step by step I was taken into the AI world. It has given me so much insight, and I now see opportunities for the social welfare domain."

Microcredentials are compact, flexible and perfectly aligned with practice. This is how we help workers continue to develop in a focused and visible way - at their own pace, on topics that really matter.
