Dungeon of the Lost Artefacts
Project description
The project is based on the challenge of creating a VR asymmetric game, that serves as a party game with a broad audience. It combines features for both, game enthusiats and occasional players, as well as for all ages.
Context
Our project is made in collaboration with Enversed Studios, which is a company which brings VR experiences for all. While the audience is very broad, the theme of the project was decided as wizards in a dungeon, having the mission to collect as many artefacts as possible. However, it is not that easy. That is beacuse, the game is asymmetric. And that means that there are some other players (than the VR ones), that have to prevent the wizards from their target, by placing different obstacles.
Results
As our main results we can include an MVP of the asymmetric game, which can actually be played as a demo, and our concept of the game, which is backed by research, showing its value for a more complex development.
Because our learning outcomes were mainly technical, more about the design is described in the specific document, and can be applied to the MVP.
About the project group
In our project group, our backgrounds are variated, but they also go hand in hand. We come from profiles like Software Engineering, Media Design, Game Design, Mobile Development - all provided us with useful skills for this new challenge.
