Project description
Design an interactive Holobox experience with a Virtual Human that deliberately does not do what the visitor expects. While most AI experiences are built on user satisfaction, we do the opposite: we create friction. Not to irritate, but to prompt the visitor to self-reflection.
Context
This project is set up as experimental design research with Virtual Human experiences in public spaces.
Results
A virtual human that aims to cause friction relies on behavior, appearance, and communication (dialogue). The user's context and perception also contribute to how a user experiences the Virtual Human.
